Session: A standard session is 50 minutes, beginning on the hour. Couples and families (as well as some individuals) may work best in extended sessions of 80 minutes or longer, which can be planned as needed.
Payment: I accept cash and credit cards. I am a participating provider with Cigna PPO and HMO. If you have other insurance, I will work with you to fill out and submit insurance forms if necessary. I ask clients to pay at the time of the session.
Cancelation: I ask that you give me 24-hour notice if you cannot make an appointment; clients will be held responsible for the fee if they give inadequate notice.
Confidentiality: Everything we discuss in our sessions is kept in strictest confidentiality, with just these exceptions:
If I believe you might harm yourself or others, I will take action as necessary to secure everyone’s safety, including reporting the danger to appropriate people, including your emergency contact and authorities.
If I suspect abuse of a child, senior, or dependent adult, I am required by California law to report my suspicions to the appropriate authorities.
